Silk pillowcase benefits

Choosing the right size

What size silk pillowcase do I need?
Measure the pillow, not the bed. Our standard silk pillowcase fits a 50 x 75 cm pillow, which is the usual UK size. Our king size silk pillowcase fits a longer 50 x 90 cm pillow. The pillowcase size guide covers both in more detail.
How much does a silk pillowcase cost in the UK?
Ours are £55 for a standard pillowcase, £59 for king size, £99 for a set of two standard pillowcases and £109 for a king size pair. Each is 22 momme mulberry silk and arrives in a gift box. UK delivery is free on orders over £60.
Are silk pillowcases worth it?
For most people who care about their hair and skin, yes. A £55 pillowcase used nightly for three years or more works out at around 5p a night. If you wash everything hot and tumble dry, silk is not the right choice, because it needs a gentle 30°C cycle. Here is our honest answer on whether silk pillowcases are worth it.
Do your silk pillowcases have a zip?
No. Both sizes use an envelope closure, a deep fabric fold at the back that keeps the pillow in place with no zip to catch hair or press against your face.
